Intense en levendige rosé wijn van Negroamaro druiven uit de Salento wijnregio in Puglia, Zuid-Italië. De wijngaarden liggen vlakbij de gemeente Copertino in de provincie Lecce.

Tenuta Paraida Rosato continues a family tradition: softening the austere power of Negroamaro into a rosé that gives instant pleasure. The grapes come from bush vines (alberello) around thirty years old and stay on their skins for about twelve hours, just long enough for the right colour. Copertino DOP rosé is also known for its typical minerality.

Since 1975, the Marulli family has made refined, approachable wines near Copertino, in the heart of Salento. Their 20 hectares are spread over smaller plots, each dedicated to one specific wine, with its own vine age and pruning method. They grow Negroamaro, Primitivo, Chardonnay and the local Verdeca.
