The story of Leone begins in 1857 in Neive, in the Leone family's osteria, where Luigi Leone made the first Pastiglie Leone. He later moved to Torino to perfect the art of confectionery, and the house became a supplier to the Royal House. Today Leone is based in Collegno, just outside Torino.
