Vigneti delle Dolomiti IGT Manzoni Bianco 2024

Fresh and aromatic white wine from the Alto Adige-Südtirol wine region in Trentino-Alto Adige, north-east Italy, made from Manzoni Bianco grapes. The vineyards lie in a unique terroir at 630 metres, at the foot of the Dolomites.

Manzoni Bianco is a lesser-known grape: a cross between Riesling and Pinot Bianco, developed in the 1930s by Professor Luigi Manzoni of the oenology school in Conegliano. The grape has small berries with thick skins. The Motta family picks them by hand into small crates and presses them gently, followed by a low-temperature fermentation in stainless steel. The result is a fresh, aromatic white.

This Vigneti delle Dolomiti IGT Manzoni Bianco 2024 is perfect as an aperitif or with pasta with vegetables, fish, shellfish or vegetable dishes such as salads or quiche.

The Motta family, including brothers Francesco and Filippo, swapped Rome for the beautiful Alto Adige wine region at the foot of the Dolomites to follow their passion: winegrowing. Since 2004 they have tended 3.5 hectares of vineyards on steep slopes at 630 metres, surrounded by woodland and nature reserves.
