Terre d'Abruzzo IGT Pecorino 2025

Fresh and juicy white wine from Abruzzo, southern Italy, made from Pecorino grapes. The name of this local grape literally means 'of the sheep': Pecorino has long been linked to shepherds and their seasonal droving of the flocks.

Its low yields almost led to the grape's disappearance, until Umani Ronchi launched its own project in 2005 to bring it back to life. Umani Ronchi matures this wine on its own lees in stainless steel tanks, keeping it lively and pure, with ripe fruit, good structure and a subtle savoury edge.

This Terre d'Abruzzo IGT Pecorino 2025 pairs perfectly with fish dishes, fresh cheeses, pasta or a pulse soup.
