Prosecco DOC Treviso Brut Mesai

Fresh and lively sparkling wine from the Prosecco wine region in Veneto, north-east Italy, made from Glera grapes. The vineyards lie in the Treviso sub-zone.

Mesai is a classic Prosecco, carefully made from Glera grapes grown in the valley around Vidor, close to the Daldin estate, in the DOC Treviso. The second fermentation lasts around 40 days. The result is a fresh, dry and balanced Prosecco of high quality, with the classic aromas of green apple, pear and citrus. Locally, it is enjoyed not only as an aperitif but throughout the meal.

This Prosecco DOC Treviso Brut Mesai is perfect as a festive aperitif or with appetisers, starters, fish or main courses with white meat.

In the 1970s, the Daldin family was among the first to bottle Prosecco in Valdobbiadene. Three generations of women – grandmother Lenà, Norma (right in the photo) and her daughter Alessandra (left) – put the estate on the map: the three diamonds on the label stand for them. Their Proseccos are 100% Glera and as dry as possible within each category.
