Smooth and balanced red wine from Abruzzo, southern Italy, made from Montepulciano grapes. The vineyards lie mainly in the provinces of Chieti and Teramo, where the vines are traditionally trained on high 'tendone' pergolas.

Umani Ronchi, based in the neighbouring Marche region, set out with Podere to showcase Montepulciano's typical character and freshness, with just the right touch of charm and softness. The result is an easy-drinking wine that goes with all sorts of dishes.
