Powerful and elegant red wine from the Montalcino wine region in Tuscany, central Italy, made from Sangiovese grapes. The vineyards lie on the northern slope of the Montalcino hill, at 300 metres.

Le Chiuse lies on the site of the former riserva vineyard of the Biondi Santi family, who helped shape Brunello as we know it. For this Brunello, the grapes come from three vineyards around the estate, and the wine matures for three years in large wooden casks (botti) of Slavonian oak. The result is a classic Brunello full of finesse and vibrant fruit, which keeps its freshness for many years.

This Brunello di Montalcino DOCG 2021 pairs perfectly with rich, hearty dishes, poultry or game, red meat, or as a meditation wine.
