Rosso Piceno DOC 2023

Smooth and balanced red wine from the Rosso Piceno wine region in Marche, central Italy, made from Montepulciano and Sangiovese grapes. The vineyards lie at 100 metres, with relatively young vines averaging 10 years old.

Rosso Piceno is the classic red blend of the Marche: Montepulciano and Sangiovese. Vigna degli Estensi grows both grapes itself in Roncitelli, near Senigallia, and gives the wine a short maturation in stainless steel to keep the fruit centre stage. A smooth, balanced red with juicy red fruit and lovely freshness.

This Rosso Piceno DOC 2023 pairs perfectly with an Italian cheese and charcuterie board, poultry, pasta with meat, red meat or pizza.
