Intense and lively white wine from the Castelli di Jesi wine region in Marche, central Italy, made from Verdicchio grapes. The vineyards lie at 330 metres, with vines averaging 40 years old.

For Soteria, Vigna degli Estensi leaves the Verdicchio on the vine for around two weeks longer than usual. The grapes come from vines averaging 40 years old in Monteroberto, at 330 metres, and are picked by hand and immediately protected from oxygen with dry ice. That extra ripening gives a ripe, concentrated Verdicchio with firm acidity, plenty of flavour and a long, gently bitter finish.

This Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi Classico Superiore DOC Soteria 2024 is perfect as an aperitif or with appetisers, pasta, shellfish, fish, white meat or fresh cheeses.
