Vino Bianco SAN bianc 2024

Refined and elegant orange wine from the Roero wine region in Piemonte, north-west Italy, made from Arneis grapes. The vineyards lie north of Alba and the Tanaro river, close to the border with the province of Asti.

For SAN bianc, Carlo Casetta leaves his Arneis on its skins for a long time, as with a red wine. This gives the wine its beautiful orange colour and a gentle grip. The result is a fresh, savoury orange wine with a mineral touch and a long finish. The name means 'sound' or 'unblemished' in Piedmontese dialect and sounds like 'sun' in English, the sun that ripens the grapes.

This Vino Bianco SAN bianc 2024 pairs perfectly with smoked fish, vegetarian starters, white meat or blue cheese.
