Powerful and elegant red wine from the Barolo wine region in Piemonte, north-west Italy, made from Nebbiolo grapes. The vineyards lie in the Roncaglie cru in La Morra, at 300 metres.

Chionetti's Roncaglie vineyard lies halfway up an east-facing slope in La Morra, on younger, finely layered marl. It gives an elegant Barolo, complex and balanced, with a fresh finish. A Barolo for lovers of finesse.

This Barolo DOCG Roncaglie 2021 pairs perfectly with rich, hearty dishes, poultry or game, or as a meditation wine.

Martina and Nicola Chionetti, with Alessandro, are the fifth generation of the Chionetti family in Dogliani, in the Langhe, where Dolcetto has always taken centre stage. Each wine comes from a single vineyard (cru) and matures in large wooden casks (botti), steamed rather than toasted. Since 2015 they have also made exceptionally elegant Barolos.
