Powerful and juicy red wine from the Alto Adige-Südtirol wine region in Trentino-Alto Adige, north-east Italy, made from Lagrein grapes. The grapes come from sunny sites with calcareous clay and sand soils on either side of a ridge, facing south-east and south-west.

Lagrein is a local grape found almost nowhere but South Tyrol. Elena Walch brings out its playful yet rustic elegance: a wine with character and structure, and a youthful freshness that makes a second glass hard to resist.

This Alto Adige DOC Lagrein 2025 pairs perfectly with venison and other game, red meat or mature cheeses.
