Fresh and lively white wine from the Monferrato wine region in Piemonte, north-west Italy, made from Sauvignon Blanc grapes. The vineyards lie in a natural amphitheatre at 500 metres, surrounded by woodland.

The Sauvignon Blanc comes from Isolabella della Croce's highest vineyard, where the nights in August and September are much cooler than the days. Picking at exactly the right moment is crucial here: too early or too late and the delicate aromas are lost. The result is a fresh, mineral Sauvignon Blanc with its own Piemonte personality.

This Piemonte DOC Sauvignon Blanc 2024 is perfect as an aperitif or with appetisers, white fish or salmon, or, more specifically, Flemish-style eel in green herb sauce (paling in 't groen).
