Rosso di Montalcino DOC 2023

Rosso di Montalcino DOC 2023

Powerful and juicy red wine from the Montalcino wine region in Tuscany, central Italy, made from Sangiovese grapes. The vineyards lie on the northern slope of the Montalcino hill, at 300 metres.

For the Rosso di Montalcino, Le Chiuse harvests by hand, partly from the younger vines around the estate. The wine matures for eleven months in large wooden casks (botti) of Slavonian oak and then briefly in concrete. The result is a juicy Rosso with character and finesse, already a real pleasure to drink young.

This Rosso di Montalcino DOC 2023 pairs perfectly with rich, hearty dishes, poultry or game, red meat, or as a meditation wine.
