Fresh and aromatic white wine from the Alto Adige-Südtirol wine region in Trentino-Alto Adige, north-east Italy, made from Gewürztraminer grapes. The vineyards lie in a unique terroir at 630 metres, at the foot of the Dolomites.

This Gewürztraminer comes from a small, steep vineyard that the Motta family tends entirely by hand. The grapes are pressed for longer and more firmly for a richer, more complex bouquet, followed by fermentation in stainless steel. The result is a fresh Gewürztraminer with structure, a lovely balance between freshness and a gentle sweetness, and a long finish.

This Alto Adige DOC Gewürztraminer 2023 is perfect as an aperitif or with fish and shellfish, sushi, Japanese or other Asian cuisine, or simply on its own as a meditation wine.

The Motta family, including brothers Francesco and Filippo, swapped Rome for the beautiful Alto Adige wine region at the foot of the Dolomites to follow their passion: winegrowing. Since 2004 they have tended 3.5 hectares of vineyards on steep slopes at 630 metres, surrounded by woodland and nature reserves.
