Etna Bianco DOC Mofete 2024

Fresh and elegant white wine from the Etna wine region in Sicily, southern Italy, made from Carricante (80%) and Catarratto (20%) grapes. The vineyards lie on the northern slopes of the volcano, with 30-year-old vines.

Mofete Bianco is Palmento Costanzo's Etna Bianco: Carricante complemented by Catarratto, grown on volcanic sand and lava rock and picked by hand in September. After fermentation in stainless steel, the wine rests for four months on its fine lees. The result is a fresh, elegant white with the typical minerality of the volcano.

This Etna Bianco DOC Mofete 2024 is perfect as an aperitif or with fish and shellfish, pasta with vegetables or fresh cheeses.

Serena Costanzo and her mother Valeria Agosta run the Palmento Costanzo estate on the northern slopes of Mount Etna in Sicily. Since Valeria and her husband Mimmo founded it in 2010, the estate has been fully organic, working with the typical grape varieties of its unique volcanic soil.
