Elegant and juicy red wine from the Rossese di Dolceacqua wine region in Liguria, north-west Italy, made from Rossese grapes. The vineyards lie between 350 and 450 metres, near the village of Dolceacqua, close to the French border.

Rossese is a truly local grape, closely tied to the village of Dolceacqua and its wine, Rossese di Dolceacqua: drive a few villages further and you will hardly find it. Terre Bianche grows it on terraces between 350 and 450 metres, with vines averaging over thirty years old and some more than a century old. The result is a fine, elegant red with juicy red fruit and a lightly spicy touch. In style, it brings to mind a mineral Pinot Noir.

This Rossese di Dolceacqua DOC 2025 pairs perfectly with white meat, poultry, veal, game or Ligurian-style rabbit with capers and olives.
