Complex and rich white wine from the Castelli di Jesi wine region in Marche, central Italy, made from Verdicchio grapes. The vineyards lie at 220 metres, with vines averaging 45 years old.

For Logos, Vigna degli Estensi picks the Verdicchio by hand only around four weeks after the usual harvest, from vines averaging 45 years old in Castelleone di Suasa. The wine matures for nine months on its fine lees and then for two and a half years in bottle. The result is a complex, elegant Verdicchio of great finesse with a long finish. Logos is ancient Greek for 'word' or 'story': the narrator on the label stands for a wine with a long story to tell.
This Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi Riserva DOCG Logos 2020 pairs perfectly with white meat, poultry, dishes with white truffle, mature cheeses or blue cheese.
