Etna Bianco DOC Bianco di Sei 2022

Elegant and complex white wine from the Etna wine region in Sicily, southern Italy, made from Carricante (90%) and Catarratto (10%) grapes. The vineyards lie on the northern slopes of the volcano, with the oldest vines (vecchie vigne).

For Bianco di Sei, Palmento Costanzo deliberately keeps yields low from its oldest Carricante vines. After fermentation in stainless steel, the wine rests for ten months on its fine lees and then another year in bottle. The result is a complex, elegant Etna Bianco with depth, fresh tension and a mineral finish.

This Etna Bianco DOC Bianco di Sei 2022 is perfect as an aperitif or with fish and shellfish, fresh cheeses, or simply on its own as a meditation wine.

Serena Costanzo and her mother Valeria Agosta run the Palmento Costanzo estate on the northern slopes of Mount Etna in Sicily. Since Valeria and her husband Mimmo founded it in 2010, the estate has been fully organic, working with the typical grape varieties of its unique volcanic soil.
