Etna Rosato DOC Rosa di Sei 2024

Fresh and elegant rosé wine from the Etna wine region in Sicily, southern Italy, made from Nerello Mascalese grapes. The vineyards lie on the northern slopes of the volcano.

Rosa di Sei comes from Palmento Costanzo's historic family vineyard in Contrada Santo Spirito, where the Nerello Mascalese is picked by hand in early September. The grapes stay on their skins for just three to four hours, after which the wine rests for five months on its fine lees. The result is a refined, fresh and mineral rosé.

This Etna Rosato DOC Rosa di Sei 2024 is perfect as an aperitif or with an Italian cheese and charcuterie board, starters of (grilled) fish or vegetables, parmigiana di melanzane, caponata, salads or pasta.

Serena Costanzo and her mother Valeria Agosta run the Palmento Costanzo estate on the northern slopes of Mount Etna in Sicily. Since Valeria and her husband Mimmo founded it in 2010, the estate has been fully organic, working with the typical grape varieties of its unique volcanic soil.
