Smooth and balanced white wine from the Salento wine region in Puglia, southern Italy, made from Chardonnay grapes. The vineyards lie near the town of Copertino in the province of Lecce.

With Corte Saggese, Marulli pays tribute to the person who started the estate, in a small cantina in an alley next to the town square of Copertino. The Chardonnay ferments cool in stainless steel, preserving its freshness and ripe fruit. A juicy, balanced white wine with fine structure.

This Corte Saggese Chardonnay Salento IGP 2025 is perfect as an aperitif or with an Italian cheese and charcuterie board, fish or shellfish starters, mussels, fish dishes, white meat or fresh cheeses.

The family and team of the Marulli estate among the vines

Since 1975, the Marulli family has made refined, approachable wines near Copertino, in the heart of Salento. Their 20 hectares are spread over smaller plots, each dedicated to one specific wine, with its own vine age and pruning method. They grow Negroamaro, Primitivo, Chardonnay and the local Verdeca.
