Fresh and juicy white wine from the Salento wine region in Puglia, southern Italy, made from Verdeca grapes. The vineyards lie near the town of Copertino in the province of Lecce.

Verdeca is a rare local grape from Puglia. Marulli presses the grapes gently and ferments the juice cool in stainless steel to preserve its freshness. The result is a surprisingly fresh, delicate and juicy white wine for anyone wanting to discover a different side of Puglia.

This Tinente Verdeca Salento IGP 2025 is perfect as an aperitif or with fish appetisers, salmon, shellfish, prawns, or fish and seafood starters.

Since 1975, the Marulli family has made refined, approachable wines near Copertino, in the heart of Salento. Their 20 hectares are spread over smaller plots, each dedicated to one specific wine, with its own vine age and pruning method. They grow Negroamaro, Primitivo, Chardonnay and the local Verdeca.
