Toscana Rosato IGT Eugenia 2023

Fresh and elegant rosé wine from the Chianti Classico wine region in Tuscany, central Italy, made from Sangiovese (60%) and Syrah (40%) grapes. The vineyards lie in San Casciano in Val di Pesa, in the north of the area, at 320 metres.

Eugenia is Villa Vallacchio's rosé, made from Sangiovese and Syrah from the estate's own vineyards, with temperature-controlled fermentation and ageing in stainless steel. The result is a fresh, elegant and fruity rosé. The wine is a tribute to Eugenia, Alberta's mother, and only around a thousand bottles are made.

This Toscana Rosato IGT Eugenia 2023 is perfect as an aperitif or with an Italian cheese and charcuterie board, fish starters, poultry, white meat, pasta or pizza.
