Rossese di Dolceacqua DOC 2023
Elegante en sappige rode wijn van Rossese druiven uit de Rossese di Dolceacqua wijnregio in Ligurië, Noordwest-Italië. De wijngaarden liggen tussen 350 en 450 meter hoogte, nabij het dorpje Dolceacqua, dicht bij de Franse grens.
Rossese is a truly local grape, closely tied to the village of Dolceacqua and its wine, Rossese di Dolceacqua: drive a few villages further and you will hardly find it. Terre Bianche grows it on terraces between 350 and 450 metres, with vines averaging over thirty years old and some more than a century old. The result is a fine, elegant red with juicy red fruit and a lightly spicy touch. In style, it brings to mind a mineral Pinot Noir.
