Complex and elegant red wine from the Riviera Ligure di Ponente wine region in Liguria, north-west Italy, made from Rossese grapes. The vineyards lie in the renowned cru at the top of the Arcagna hill, near the village of Dolceacqua, close to the French border. The Rondelli family planted the first Rossese vine as early as 1870 on the distinctive white soil that gave the Terre Bianche estate its name. Together with its beautiful setting on the foothills of the Ligurian Alps, close to the sea, this produces delicious, unique and mineral white wines from local grape varieties and, of course, the local red Rossese di Dolceacqua. This Rossese di Dolceacqua DOC Bricco Arcagna 2021 pairs perfectly with red meat, grilled meat or game, or simply on its own as a delicious meditation wine.
