Rosso Piceno DOC Aestus 2019

Krachtige en volle rode wijn van Montepulciano (70%) en Sangiovese (30%) druiven uit de Rosso Piceno wijnregio in Le Marche, Centraal-Italië. De wijngaarden liggen op 100 meter hoogte, met relatief jonge wijnstokken van gemiddeld 10 jaar oud.

Aestus is Vigna degli Estensi's selection of Montepulciano and Sangiovese. The wine matures for nine months in medium-sized wooden casks (tonneaux) of oak, then two years in bottle. The result is a complex, elegant red with firm yet fine grip: a true wine for savouring.
