Rosé Spumante Brut Lenà Pinot Nero

Fresh and refined sparkling wine from the Prosecco Superiore wine region in Veneto, north-east Italy, made from Pinot Nero grapes. The vineyards lie on the hills of Valdobbiadene and Conegliano, a UNESCO World Heritage site at the heart of the Prosecco area.

For Lenà Rosé, the Daldin family deliberately chooses 100% Pinot Nero from around Vidor, in the Prosecco Superiore area: in their view, this gives higher quality than a blend of Glera and Pinot Nero. That is why the label says 'Spumante' rather than 'Prosecco'. The result is a fresh, dry and juicy rosé with a touch of wild berries. The name pays tribute to grandmother Lenà, who helped found the house.

This Rosé Spumante Brut Lenà Pinot Nero is perfect as a festive aperitif or with charcuterie, shellfish, fish starters or main courses with white meat.

In the 1970s, the Daldin family was among the first to bottle Prosecco in Valdobbiadene. Three generations of women – grandmother Lenà, Norma (right in the photo) and her daughter Alessandra (left) – put the estate on the map: the three diamonds on the label stand for them. Their Proseccos are 100% Glera and as dry as possible within each category.
