Frisse en aromatische witte wijn van Riesling druiven uit de Langhe wijnregio in Piemonte, Noordwest-Italië. De wijngaarden liggen op 500 meter hoogte, net buiten Dogliani, ten zuiden van de Barolo-regio.

On the hill of Martina, on the edge of the Alta Langa, Chionetti saw the chance to make a white wine alongside the house's red classics. The choice fell on Riesling, a grape that thrives in this microclimate, on the estate's highest vineyard. The poor soil of white marl and sandstone gives a fresh Riesling with character and minerality: a surprising white from the land of great reds.

Martina and Nicola Chionetti, with Alessandro, are the fifth generation of the Chionetti family in Dogliani, in the Langhe, where Dolcetto has always taken centre stage. Each wine comes from a single vineyard (cru) and matures in large wooden casks (botti), steamed rather than toasted. Since 2015 they have also made exceptionally elegant Barolos.
